clrefThe 3M Particulate Respirator Model 8247, R95 is designed to help provide reliable worker protection against certain oil and non-oil based particles including those present with nuisance levels of organic vapors such as solvents, degreasers, and resins. Advanced electrostatically charged microfibers make breathing easier and cooler. Odor-removing filter material with carbon layers remove many nuisance level odors for greater comfort and productivity. NIOSH approved R95 with at least 95% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols including oils. Lightweight construction. If respirator becomes damaged, soiled, or breathing becomes difficult, leave the contaminated area immediately and dispose of the respirator. If oil aerosols are present, time use may be limited to 8 hours of continuous or intermittent use. Refer to NIOSH Users Guide, Pub. No. 96-101.
